A broken mirror π
The sparrows painstakingly built the nest at a safe spot on the tree and took turns to keep the eggs, warm and cozy
The father bird prevented many attempts by the cats and snakes to eat the eggs and the pair of sparrows longingly awaited the day to hatch
This summer heat was extreme and the woods went completely dry! Alas a spark had lit the fire π₯ which rapidly spread to consume most of the trees including the sparrows home tree π΄
The sparrows hearts broke into pieces like a mirror at the sight of their future turning into ashes
The mother bird recovered in time to console the father and said
"All is not lost though our present is lost but do remember that our future can be rebuilt so long our hopes aren't lost"
The father bird realised and together they flew away to seek another woods to rebuild their future
Broken mirrors can't be moulded again but broken hearts can regain hope πΏ
