Be thankful for the life times?
Mayflies isn’t about May flying but rather about the shortest living time for a living specimen on our earth 🌎
Do note that 'time' actually flies for Mayflies as their life span on our planet earth is just a single Earth day
In that given single day, Mayflies have to mate, lay eggs for future generations and then die
For few of us, this may sound inviting and interesting but it would do good for us to remember that 'life isn’t all about death’, but rather more about 'adding values to our life'
Considering that 'time' do fly and in comparison with Mayflies, thankfully we humans live for an average of 70 earthly years which puts us under no pressure to mate in a single day to procreate or die
We have at our disposal 25550 days to leisurely plan our life before we embrace 'death'
We also get to enjoy our infant stage, childhood, teenage, middle age and senior age together with all the perks that come along with these ages
Mayflies are created to serve a single purpose and die but we aren’t, as our lives during our lifespan may differ in lifestyles but there is a purpose behind each of our births which we must recognise in time and fulfil the same during our lifetimes
Let’s say, even if 70% of our lifetimes are lost or wasted, we still possess the balance 30% to reform and regrow in our life which, unfortunately, the Mayflies don’t enjoy
So let’s all be thankful for our lifetimes to set right our lifetimes 🌿
