Honesty > Straightforward

Is there a difference between honesty and straightforwardness ?

Looks like there is !

Straightforward people are honest, open minded and always bluntly direct to the point, which might appear quite rude

Because they never hide their feelings and are so genuine, they neither care and many a times, throw caution in the wind

Hence despite their honesty & sincerity, they are seldom liked, their association is greatly avioded

In some cases, even by their kith & kin !

Honesty on the other hand thou highlight the quality of straightforwardness, people who are honest

Also conduct themselves in a manner that their truthfulness is well appreciated by one and all

They build trustworthiness, loyalty and sincerity by the absence of lying, cheating, theft and fairness

Straightforward people are prone to misjudge other's and at times end up as loser too, since they approach life

With an horse blind assuming that their honesty will be well appreciated

Honest people have a well balanced approach to life, they do not take everything and everyone for granted

Nor deviate from their principles, hence they don't fall prey rather tend to correct other's by their conduct

Thou honesty and straightforwardness are from the same pot, the serving differ

That's all is the difference !
