India 'Bharat' overflows with political parties

With 6 national parties, 57 state focused parties and a staggering 2764 unregistered or unrecognised political parties

The country is trying its best to come to terms with the prevailing chaos in recognising 'who is whom' in the political circles

I tried counting the flags of each of these political parties and felt like getting 'flagged' for searching for sensitive information

The human eye is said to be capable of seeing around one million colors and the ability to distinguish between 10 million colors

Now that posed a real challenge to identify individual political parties flag color codes since my mind ran out of the permutation and combination of available standard colors

Symbols of these political parties varies from a broom 🧹 stick to an elephant 🐘 and these images of the party symbols do play a key role in drawing voters attention

Coming to the crucial aspect of the principles under which these political parties were founded and formed is yet another mind boggling subject

Registration of political parties under section 29A of people's act - 1951 mandates

* Objectives in consonance with constitution of India
* Minimum 100 eligible electoral voters who aren't registered under any other political parties must certify their faith, belief and support to the ideologies or objectives of the political party
* The registered political party must contest an election within 5 years to retain eligibility
* Model code of conduct 👉 No party or candidate shall include in any activity which may aggravate existing differences or create mutual hatred or cause tension between different castes and communities, religious or linguistic.

The primary clause in the model code of conduct as stated above is actually the source of founding political parties since it's the difference in castes, communities, religions and languages that fund the formation of each political party

While the other major developing nations constitute a limited number of political parties to contest and thus enable its citizens to focus better

It's only in india that thousands of political parties are registered and permitted to contest thus causing utter confusion in the minds of her citizens

Hence the majority of the indian public who are eligible to elect, cast their vote for personal gains than focusing on the welfare and progress of the nation

Elections at various levels across the nation is an ever ongoing process to elect for the respective positions which number in thousands

And the drama, pre and post the elections are so dramatic that the entire nation spends the valuable time in civil unrest

It's high time that the election commission of India redraft the eligibility clause and be steadfast in its implementation in order to bring a healthy change to electing the right candidates to govern our nation

Nature draws a rainbow with the basic colors and hence the rainbow looks beautiful

Likewise, when the law of the land rules to honor the core principles of the constitution, then the parliament will appear as beautiful as the rainbow 🌈

I salute the spirit of India 'Bharat' 🙏
