Negativity - is it an inborn character trait or developed over a lifetime?

Negativity

Negativity bias can be an innate tendency but the larger cause is generally due to experiencing prolonged challenging situations in life

Chronic illness, sudden orphan state, toxic home atmosphere, extreme financial situations, deep guilt feelings and inability to self survive are the common causes for negativity to prevail in a person's thoughts and actions

Though our brains are predisposed to negativity, we fall victim to the lifetime of negativity because of the above listed causes

While there's a way out of negativity by understanding the patterns in this line of thinking and making efforts to reinforce the mind to remain focused on positivity

There are bound to be periodical bouts or short periods of depressive mood and self pitying displays by negativity affected people

It's crucial for the near and dear of such people to be understanding and be supportive of them during these periods of negativity

The less fortunate's of this lot who have none to support are left out to live as victims of negativity and die miserably

Genetically, we humans are tuned to negativity for thousands of years but the dawn of civilisation did teach the way out of this quality or character

Today there are both virtual and offline remedial measures to exit negativity and all that's required for the victims of negativity is timely support and self correcting times

Even prolonged darkness is lifted by the rays of the sun to brighten the day and so can the love and care of the wellwishers lift a victim out of negativity

Nothing is constant in life and negativity is no exception, hence a victim of negativity can cure themselves through self efforts with the support of near & dears 🌿
