Nothing like a family get together
As we grow, the frequency of family get togethers gets rare
Sometimes, even years roll by before the families catch up with each other
Though the advent of the virtual world kept the families virtually connected
Physical family meetings turned a rare sight due to various reasons of which 'no time to meet' topped the chart
Personal and professional commitments, trending lifestyles, individual preferences and asocial attitudes keeps the families away
Situations in life and profession can also cause the gap in physical family meetings
But despite all these, what that can bring families together is 'an hearty welcome and sincere efforts'
Independence day weekend witnessed this scene at our home which was packed with joyful hearts and loving minds
Planned meetings may or may not happen but such unplanned get-togethers do happen and adds a ton of fun in family meetings
It was a 3 generation family reunion which brought happiness to the hearts of all right from the little angel to the little old man
Well Monday Blues catch up with everyone and hence off they went back to their respective dens, carrying with them, tons of memorable moments
As I write this, my thoughts kept lingering on those wonderful moments and my heart wished for more such joyful family together times
Of course the option to just keep wishing or make it happen rests in our thoughts and actions
And I would prefer to exercise option 2 and make it happen rather to regret at a later date as to why I missed the dates
Any time your heart wishes for a family meet, never hesitate to communicate nor miss to take the efforts forward
