On a short trek in the Masinagudi - Theppakadu sanctuary!
We witnessed a life lesson scene unfolding!
As a hyena was feasting on a carcass, a pack of wild dogs was watching from a safe distance!
In minutes more dogs joined the pack and they began to advance towards the hyena!
The hyena stopped eating and tried scary laughter to scare away the wild pack!
That didn't work as the wild dogs started to systematically attack the hyena from all sides!
Unable to counter this attack, the hyena slowly walked away, giving room for the wild dogs to devour whatever was left in the carcass!
The hyena's laughter noise invited a few other hyenas to the scene and now the dynamics reversed!
The wild dogs realized their situation and fled the moment the hyenas charged towards them!
But that few minutes in between were put to productive use by the wild dogs by consuming as much as possible meat out of the carcass!
The hyenas resumed their lunch and the wild dogs moved away from that location in search of yet another food episode!
What I learned from observing 👇
# Plan, unite and act
# Derive maximum result in the available time
# Move away if the situation calls for
# keep going
The predator understands that it shouldn't become prey!
The prey realizes that it can be a predator if there's a plan and unity!
The Law of Nature keeps wildlife well-balanced and the law of humans can follow this pattern to well balance their life times!
