Pigeon 🐦 s ritual

Pigeons are fast replacing the sparrows and crows to mingle with humans

It's a common sight to find pigeon poops scattered everywhere in any given society

The OTS in apartment societies double up as pigeon holes and these uninvited guests stay there for ever

At each dawn, these pigeons begin to sing their songs which are almost the same tune that turns irritating after sometime

As I walk towards the gym in the early morning, I rarely see these pigeons occupying the sun shades or for that matter, not to be seen even in the garden

But as I walked back home, they were there, everywhere and it so happened that I noticed a dozen of them flopping together near the swimming pool

Curious for the first time, i stopped to look at them for sometime and the scene by scene scenario began to unfold quite a few unknown (to me) actions by the pigeons

Well, a dozen of them landed on the edge of the swimming pool to make me believe that they are about to take a dive into the swimming pool

But they all in a sequence, dipped their beaks into the surface water of the swimming pool and acted as if they were sipping the water

Or wait a minute, were they kind of gargling to clean their mouths?

The next action for sure stumped me because they were taking a dip in the pool and climbing back on the edge to shake their tiny frames and dry their wings

Were they adapting to our lifestyles?

Like brushing teeth and taking a bath before eating breakfast?

If this is true of my fancy thoughts, then for sure these pigeons are gonna talk like us, near soon

Didn't the ancient epics mentioned, about talking birds and animals?

History can very well repeat making our lives much more complicated because, as such, these pigeons are costing the society management and causing nuisance

Imagine the situation if they begin talking!

Talking 🦜 parrots are fun to be with but certainly not with talking pigeon 🐦 s

Of course the cats are always on the prowl to catch the lazy pigeon for BF, Lunch or Dinner and the societies tolerate the cats games to manage the growth of pigeons population

I wondered as to why I missed all these days to observe these pigeons morning ritual and concluded that

There's always a time to understand many things in our life 🌿

Well, the pigeons are here to stay and so are the cats but the hygiene is moving out

It's ok, life's like that in this 🌎
