WFH stress?
The doorbell rang and kept ringing till Simon was done with it
Boiling inside Simon woke up to rise from bed and confront the intruder
Well, that's how he felt but it was the alarm that he had set in the mobile phone which was ringing
It was an awkward situation, he began to wonder whether the lockdown is taking a toll on him
This was odd because to start with he has never missed a set alarm and secondly, mind wandering was completely, way off
True that the work from home WFH is stress due to the unscheduled working hours but he found that quite manageable
Off late many of his colleagues and friends were attending online meditation, yoga and physical workout sessions
Some of them were also consulting with the psychiatrist since they wished to test their mental strength
Simon was born in a family of entrepreneurs and has gone through the mill of multiple ups & downs in his life
These experiences at a young age have made him grow into a man of steel
Hence the pandemic lockdown affecting his pay package, the long working hours and the demanding work
Hasn't deterred him from finding a fine work-life balance rather it was a blessing as he finally found his fingers holding the brush to stroke a lively painting
Mind diversion in this art helped him to calm down and the landscape paintings took him virtually to those Nature abundant places of beauty
Of late he had been contemplating starting virtual sessions to impart the art skill to his friends and colleagues to help them find peace and content
Simon thought 'what is the point of being born as human if compassion and care isn't shown in times of need'
The first art online class of 30 minutes slot is scheduled to begin this morning at 8 am and end in time for all of them
To log in, in time for their daily work schedule -
He wished that these art class sessions will ease the minds of the participants and help them to remain able & stable 🤝
